Hey! I'm Katie!I am currently a junior double majoring in Finance and Real Estate and minoring in Public Relations/ Advertising through the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. I was born in Charlotte, but I also grew up with Charlotte. That's right, I said "with" not "in" because if you know Charlotte North Carolina, you've seen it change and grow immensely over the past 21 years. Watching the real estate developers change and enhance my hometown has captivated my interest and stoked my passion to work in a field that requires vision, a sense of purpose, and a desire to create new communities.My result-oriented nature and abstract thinking skills allow me to be a respectable leader, while my extroverted personality and communication skills help me thrive in a diverse work environment. I work well in collaborative situations and excel in developing creative approaches to solving problems. I am looking for an opportunity that allows me to be a role model for those around me and encourage others to push outside their comfort zone. I am seeking an internship in the real-estate development field, that will allow me to apply my talents and the skills I've learned to help me succeed in my future career.
