I am an attorney in Greenville, Texas. I practice in the areas of civil law and criminal defense. My work in criminal defense has generated national press coverage as I was the first Texas lawyer successfully to challenge the practice of jails recording inmate/attorney telephone calls and turning them over to the state. I represent children in cases of abuse or neglect brought by CPS. I represent individuals in divorces, custody disputes, child support issues, and in cases where the Attorney General's office is trying to enforce support orders with contempt of court. I assist with drafting of wills, estate planning and the probating of wills. I do civil and criminal appellate work.I am currently the Municipal Judge for the city of Greenville, Texas.
