I am a story collector. I treasure stories because they entertain and educate me—they've transported me, surprised me, opened my eyes, and shaped my life. My passion is working with writers to discover their voices and develop their stories. An expert in children's and young adult literature, I have been a children's book editor for seventeen years and managed over one hundred projects from acquisition to publication, and I've taught hundreds of hours of writing workshops. Working with storytellers—authors and illustrators of fiction and nonfiction—has been extremely rewarding and fun.
