Currently, I have started a new venture with the American Academy of Professional Coders as a full-time Senior Auditor/Project Lead.During the past 11 years, I held a compliance role at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, working remotelyfor the past 8 years. In this role, I am responsible for evaluating, critiquing, providing training and feedback, and review of government policies by CMS (and other health insurance companies). Altogether, I have 15+ years of dedication to the healthcare industry.One of my work passions include researching regulations and guidelines in order to share with my team. I also am one to ask question and listen to everyone's thoughts before forming my own opinion or writing up a process involvingothers. I am working on my MBA at Johns Hopkins in Health Care Administration, Innovation, and Technology with a potential graduation date of December 2023.I live in Columbia, MO with my husband, son, daughter, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. While enjoying time with my family, they also support me working from home and giving me space while in my office.
