I am a high-achieving and ambitious high school student from St. Louis, Missouri. In the future, I would like to have a successful career in politics and government. With that goal in mind, I’ve been pursuing opportunities to further my understanding of the world around me, particularly from a political lens. I have been a volunteer at my local polling place since 2020 and I’ve interned in my city’s civil courts building at the law library. I am a member of Congresswoman Cori Bush‘s Congressional Youth Council, helping issues in my city to be heard and resolved. In my school community, I’ve become captain of speech and debate as well as editor of the literary magazine while also being vice president of student council. I have also won multiple awards including the National Speech & Debate Association’s Speaking and Service award (twice!) as well as the Rotary Club's Youth Leadership Award.
