I conduct research for, develop, and present, structured talks, impromptu talks, guided tours, and other presentations for sites on the National Mall. I also inform visitors about the significance of the resources of the park and about the laws, rules, and regulations relating to the protection of the resources as well as the operations of the park.

I taught over 500 hours of instruction on English, science, reading instruction, phonemics, health and vocational skills to students ranging from Elementary to Tertiary level in rural Uganda. While in Uganda, I taught at 4 different schools: Nyondo Primary Teachers' College, Nyondo Demonstration Primary School, Nabumali Boarding Primary School and Mbale School for the Deaf. At the college, I oversaw and provided feedback to 40 pre-service teachers during school practice, taught lessons on reading and vocabulary instruction, phonemics as well as science content. I worked closely with other teachers to prepare workshops for the students. At the primary schools, I taught lessons on literacy and health topics and facilitated workshops on how to repair mosquito nets. At the Deaf School, I instructed students in English and vocational skills.I also prepared and facilitated sessions at multiple trainings. I provided training on a variety of topics ranging from malaria prevention to content instruction to current volunteers and host country nationals. I also designed clear and concise informational materials to support these trainings.

I managed the concessions stand at Codorus State Park swimming pool during the summer months. I scheduled staff to ensure proper coverage and provided training to new workers. I assisted with and troubleshot customer problems. I was also responsible for the fiscal management of the stand and updated the owner of needs.

I was a tutor in the South Reading Youth Initiative Program which was an after-school program aimed at supporting English language learners in an inter-city environment. I tutored learners aged 7-14 with their homework and led extra-curricular activities when they were finished. I also assisted in the office with preparing materials for the learners, compiling data in a database, as well as completing basic office tasks.
