As Womens Captain I help to coordinate the squad, by working alongside coaches and the squad. I have to communicate 'big ideas' from the committee and organise a large squad of around 40 women and assisting in transferring vital message to the squad. This role has increased my competency in sending out emails, it has also helped my ability to organise this alongside my part time job and university studies. Teamwork is also vital in rowing and has taught me a lot about working within a team.
