At DVRPC, I craft communications for diverse audiences across multiple platforms. I am responsible for writing and editing the monthly newsletter, which is distributed to stakeholders, government officials, and members of the public. I drafted text and selected graphics for the FY2015 Annual Report. Additionally, I assist with social media posts, press releases, and other print and web materials.

My primary mission as a Visitor Services Assistant was to make the world-class collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art accessible and engaging for broad audiences. I also assisted with daily operations at the Perelman Building, Rodin Museum, Mt. Pleasant Historic House, and Cedar Grove Historic House. I served as Gallery Attendant during the "Making a Classic Modern"​ exhibition, responding to visitor inquiries about and reactions to Frank Gehry's plan to renovate the Museum. Over the nearly 2 and a half years I spent at the Museum, I helped many different departments- including Special Events, Education, Membership, Finance, and Communications- fulfill temporary needs for research, data entry, programming, administrative work, and transcription.

Utilizing archives at the Newberry Library, the University of Illinois-Chicago, and the University of Chicago, I completed an extensive paper analyzing the social hygiene movement among middle class African American women in the Progressive Era. In this project, I traced the geography of Chicago's vice industries, using historic maps to illustrate the relationship between the locations of brothels and gambling dens and residential segregation.
