While employed at Massachusetts General Hospital, I worked for an extremely busy 6 physician practice which specialized in chronic pain management. I started off working at the front desk which entailed check in, check out, copay collection, and chart management. After several months I was promoted to Patient Financial Coordinator. In this position I was responsible for all patients who were seeing our physicians due to automobile accidents and worker's compensation injuries. This required extensive contact with claims adjusters and insurance companies to negotiate fees and approvals for continued care.

While employed at eClinicalWorks, I was the first line of contact for medical practices when they called in regarding problems with their EHR software. Conflict resolution was a large part of this position, because these practices relied on our product to efficiently help them run their day to day operations.

I held various positions within Commerce Insurance Company during the 4 1/2 years with the company. I started in the Word Processing department and gradually worked my way up to the Material Damage department as a Glass Specialist and then to the Claims Service Center where I assisted our insureds and other claimants who were involved in auto accidents. I helped set up claims and assisted them in filling out appropriate paperwork regarding claims and any injuries sustained in the losses.
