• Managed the Project Homeless Connect Grant: developed policies and procedures regarding the grant, reviewed 50+ applications in committee, provided one-on-one TA with communities, published a manual to enable event planning, 3225 volunteers mobilized across the state at 50 events in 46 communities in 09, 100% reporting in 2009 compared to 40% reporting in 2008• Developed and maintained Web 2.0 tools to communicate policy changes, coordinate advocacy efforts such as Homeless Awareness week in 2009 and 2010, advertise upcoming events, and grant opportunities; includes Facebook page (400+ fans), webpage, blog, and statewide calendar, reaching statewide audience of 60 communities, covering all 83 of Michigan’s counties, and a national audience of coalition partners• Researched, designed, and presented a series of 7 volunteer management trainings for 80 other AmeriCorps members, the final product becoming part of two statewide AmeriCorps programs’ member handbooks• Represented MCAH to collaborative partners on a Statewide level, working with them to understand Michigan’s Campaign to End Homelessness, and homeless services in general.

* Planned and executed advertisement campaign for canvasser recruitment, including newspaper ad, which included worked with ad rep for minimum ad space and maximum visibility within budget* Received and screened 200 calls regarding jobs a week; interviewed and evaluated the skills of 100 job applicants a week.* Maintained and enforced standards for voter contact and voter registration, in order to maintain office average, leading in a goal-oriented way* Had individual meetings with best canvassers in order to develop skills, relationships, and leadership in order to build a team* Managed a budget of 80k for 3 month election campaign, including advertisement, payroll, supplies, transportation, and shipment.

* Lead 10-12 service representatives over 10-12 hour days during Welcome Week and Spring Closing * managing 7-10 people in the completion of 500 sets of resident paperwork * managing the tight parking situation * checking out of moving equipment * all with the goal of making the process a less stressful experience* Ownership of the Case Hall reception desks, including managing the organization of daily operations* Act as a liaison between Level 1 Service Center Representatives and Management* Training, mentorship, and basic discipline of 12 Level 1 Service Center Representatives
