As product manager of Esri Academy and senior leader of the content team (approximately 40 individuals), I am responsible for the strategic evolution of our training website, learning management system, and customer experience in our various training formats. The team I oversee is responsible for the development of user training on Esri technology. As the Content Development Manager in Training Services, I am responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing a group of 40+ team leads and team members. I am also responsible for the following:-Providing performance feedback to personnel assigned to the team.-Recruiting and training new talent as needed.-Monitoring daily administrative concerns to include resourcing and staff allocation, time management, inter-team communications, and issue resolution.-Participating in inter-departmental and company-wide projects as needed.-Evaluating and staying up to date with new technology (web, graphics, e-learning).-Communicating with the Training Manager on staff issues, resource needs, team productivity, and assignment details.

Managed the instructional design and technology group dedicated to content and course design for Esri's Educational Services Department.

Utilized knowledge of cognitive theory to assist in the design and development of instructor led and web based training for a variety of GIS products delivered by Esri GIS professionals.

Supervised, developed, and delivered training solutions using prescribed tools according to process, quality, budget, and milestone standards. Identified and raised issues/risks to ensure project success. Coached peers, vendors, and supporting staff. This hospital is the first in the state to be trained to utilize this system in this way.-Designed and produced the Firefighter Rehab PowerPoint presentation and video for Masimo® and Disaster Management Systems Inc. to strengthen product desirability as well as provide assistance and marketable materials to Masimo® (owned exclusivity of this product).-Animated, narrated, scored, and produced the training video for the Patient and Evacuee Tracking Kit by Disaster Management Systems Inc. which is utilized to train customers as well as increase sales of several products.
