As a Prep Cook, I maintained the highest quality of product by preparing and storing food according to restaurant standards and procedures. As a Kitchen Expediter, I improved the efficiency of kitchen staff through time-saving and multitasking techniques, while continuously maintaining quality of food. I utilized direct communication skills with kitchen staff to ensure that exact customer needs were met consistently.

Through observation and research, I created detailed training checklists for all store positions that adhered to and incorporated corporate training materials. These training materials included all Front and Back of House positions for new team members. I made sure that team members were adequately trained before being assigned to a position and those training levels were communicated to managers. I communicated with trainees, experienced team members, and management via HotSchedules and Trello to ensure that best practices were consistent across all trainees, as well as promptly answered any questions from the staff.In my time as the Lead Trainer, I streamlined training processes to efficiently train team members on as many positions as possible, and many of my trainees have since moved into leadership positions. I also trained other team members (including my replacement) into my role and delegated training responsibilities to them.
