About Katherine Wright

I am an SMU Cox MS Management '22 candidate with BS Biology and BA Philosophy dual degrees (pre-health track) also from SMU. My long-term goal is to  start my own private practice clinic closer to home (Helena, Arkansas), stemming from my passion to enhance healthcare access in underserved, rural communities. Post-graduation, I am targeting medical sales roles to complement my academic experiences and healthcare-related volunteer efforts towards improving healthcare professionals' usage of life-saving technology and tools.My interdisciplinary background in biology and business will prepare me for these roles, as will my unmatched ability to “woo” others and sell them on my ideas. My philosophy background has guided me in structuring persuasive arguments and remaining calm & rational under pressure.
