We are doing many innovative projects at the foundation where I work, given that this is the first Education Coordinator that the foundation has had! Therefore, we have begun a tracking and remote viewing program for the mountain, along with a Black Oak Seedling Project due to the bark beetle infestation. Our intention is to create information that will be used for research on the mountain.As well, we are creating a conservation art program that involves botanical drawings, plain aire painting and various other installations that students will present in public places for the purpose of the elucidation of our unique mountain range.
