I am Katie Cook, a recent graduate seeking employment in the environmental management space, where I may apply my legal skills and knowledge to environmental and natural resources issues. I am also a JD and MA graduate from the University of Wyoming, where I specialize in environmental law and wildlife management with an emphasis on environmental justice and advocacy. With a background in wildlife conservation and a TEFL certification, I bring a unique and global perspective to the field of environmental law and to both international and domestic non-profits. I am driven by my passion for promoting the well-being of our environment and society, using my legal expertise to drive positive change and resilience. I have gained valuable experience and developed a diverse skill set through interning at various non-profit organizations, where I have conducted legal research and drafted comments and motions for environmental causes. I also served as a judicial clerk at the Laramie Municipal Court, where I deepened my understanding of the legal system and its role in shaping environmental policies and outcomes. As I pursue my career in law, advocacy, and environmental management, I am excited to contribute my passion, knowledge, and dedication to create a more resilient environment for humans and animals.
