The running joke is that I seem to know everyone. While I don’t think that is quite true, during my professional and volunteer career I have curated a wide range of relationships that I choose to maintain. This provides options when I need a solution quickly as I always have someone to call.Organization and timeliness are two of my core strengths, though coordinating people might be my greatest. My roles have required someone who is able to read the room quickly and adjust tactics at a moment’s notice, simply based on who I am engaging.The core of who I am and what I do is people. Specifically, those who could use a hand up. I’ve worked hard to improve the lives of the children in foster care, the families who take those children in, or the parents who struggle to pay for giving their children positive experiences.
