Manage a department responsible for over 3 million dollars in special event mass-market income; which includes Walk to Cure Diabetes, Ride to Cure Diabetes and Endurance Events throughout New York City. In 2010 recruited 14,000 people who raised 1.09 million dollars (11.5% income Growth over 2009). In 2011 recruited 17,000 individuals, and raised 1.1 million dollars. In 2012 recruited 20,0000 individuals who raised 1.28 million dollars(17% gross increase and 27% net increase over 2011).-Increased special event corporate sponsorship from $52,500 (2009) to $208,000 (2012).- Oversee a logistics plan for 20,000 participants which includes venue and vendor contracts.- Create and implement staff and volunteer trainings to educate them on the mission, fundraising strategies and our walk model. -Implement an annual 500 person Corporate Kickoff Breakfast.-Implemented new strategies to improve the event's customer experience in four key areas: logistics, event marketing, recognition of top performers and social media. -Manage and strengthened a nationwide cause marketing relationship which raised $109,000 in 2011 and in 2012 raised $248,000.- Mentor new colleagues to learn ACS special event best practices.- Manage weekly income and expense reporting.-Created and implemented year round donor cultivation events.

Monmouth and Ocean County Point of Contact for Relay For Life initiatives:-Responsible for event growth, donor cultivation, strategic planning and implementation of 16 annual events in FY09 and 17 events in FY10.- Managed a team of 5 staff who raised 1.09 million dollars net in FY09 and 1.285 million dollars net income in FY10 (19% growth over 2009).- Responsible for hiring and training new Relay For Life staff.- Primary relationship manager for Relay For Life corporate, underwriting and media sponsors.- Implemented a strategic plan engaging local Relay For Life National Corporate Partners. This increased involvement from 17 (FY08) to 48 (FY09) to 56 (FY10) partners. The plan was implemented across New York and New Jersey- Created a year round survivor engagement plan that has increased involvement numbers by 16% to date. - Standardized and branded regional community event materials.- Supported the online fundraising department by creating innovative fundraising strategies.- Created and implemented regional online revenue training, sponsorship training, national team partner training, new chairperson training and regional summits.- Cultivated a $14,000 Cancer Ball Sponsorship (2009 & 2010)Managed the Relay For Life of Monmouth University:-Raised $53,000 net in FY10 and $56,000 net in FY09.-Recruited over 600 student, employee and community participants and 55 plus teams annually.-In 2009 Monmouth University was recognized at the Relay For Life Divisional Summit in the following categories: Top Net Increase of 2008(45.29%) NJ, Highest Online Revenue College NJ, Most Survivors NJ Relay For Life of Monmouth University-Managed the Relay For Life of The Two Rivers raising $90,000 net in FY10 and 74,000 in FY09. -Managed the Relay For Life of Freehold raising $225,000 net in FY10 and $209,000 net in FY09.
