With over 20 years of experience in the hearing care industry, I am a qualified audiologist who is passionate about improving the health and quality of life of people from diverse backgrounds and communities. As the Coordinator - Quality, Training and Community at Wanslea, I am responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality in service delivery, training and community capacity building as part of the Early Childhood Approach program. Previously, I led the First Nations Services team and oversaw the delivery of culturally safe and accessible hearing care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients across Western Australia as the State Manager Clinical Operations at Hearing Australia. I also managed the Hearing Assessment Program - Early Ears, a research-based initiative that provides free hearing screenings and referrals for children aged 0-6 years. I use my skills in interpersonal communication, collaborative problem solving, and scrum methodology to achieve this goal.
