Continuing work towards implementing a python toolkit (PyCDT) to develop a screening method for determining candidate Li-based solid electrolyte interfaces/interlayers with favorable EDL characteristics.

Modeling of the electrical double layer (EDL) of various Li|SSE interfaces through DFT calculations using VASP. Ionic relaxations and SCF calculations were used to predict the lowest charge-neutral defect formation energies and interfacial electrostatic potential barriers. Completed poster presentation and engaged in research workshops.

Provided customer service, general store maintenance, and grocery/produce stocking.

Worked in a crew of ten members over four weeks on conservation projects for Colorado state parks. Projects included wildlife fencing, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, cabin insulation, and fuel ladder reduction.
