My skills as a project manager, specialising in event management of awards programs, corporate events, training and seminars have been honed during my years of project and stakeholder management roles across a range of industries including water, technology and mining and for many different mediums – from annual reports to websites.I deliver consistently high-calibre gala dinners and events, seminars and training, and my attention to detail ensures consistency of written communications and client branding. I have a high level of proficiency in the use of a vast range of computer software and am able to navigate and adopt new technology to support continuous improvement and efficiency.

Conference event management

Event management of the annual Impact Awards program, including event management of the gala dinner, sponsorship benefits deliverables, marketing and communications, coordinating judging and judges schedules, and coordinating the Impact Awards alumni events. I instigated positive changes to the program, updating the event registration process and the awards management system.

Responsible for coordination and production of communication with practitioners and community; managed logistics and delivery of events, seminars and training; maintained practitioner and community database, website and social media accounts; and oversight of quality control of documentation including Steering Committee minutes and agenda items, business plan, stakeholder engagement plan and other stakeholder communication.

Working as part of the Level 3 Incident Management Team for the River Murray flooding incident on a 3-8-3 rotation, I carried out all logistics functions including ordering and managing supply for sandbag sites, and catering for personnel; maintenance of asset database; setup Logistics function procedures and documentation; and team leader to up to six staff - volunteers, contractors and permanent staff. In conjunction with the Incident Manager, wrote the incident's overarching demobilisation strategy and created the demobilisation checklists across the incident control centre, two divisional command posts and six community sandbag sites.

5th Water Sensitive Cities Conference - delivered in person and online: Managed national registrations, worked with the conference team to finalise state programs and run sheets. Coordinated logistics and managed the in-person South Australian event delivery.

As the Knowledge Platform Content Manager, I was responsible for:• Content management and contributing to information architecture• Assisting with interface design and user testing.As the National Adoption Portfolio Manager, I was responsible for:• Coordinating the CRCWSC’s Regional Managers, in terms of their functioning as a high performing team• Project management of national adoption projects, including scoping, commissioning, and overseeing delivery of projects. • Support to the Research Adoption Executive, for instance for Board reporting.

During my time with the Alliance, I coordinated and published three newsletters every month, with relevant articles also being published to the Alliance website. When requested, I also assisted with event logistics and delivery.

I delivered more than 50 high-calibre events over the five years that I worked for the AIIA managing the South Australian events, sponsorship, speaker selection and liaison, marketing and budgeting. The events ranged in size from 10 to 350 guests – from an intimate lunch with key stakeholders and the Premier, to awards dinners – and working alongside keynote speakers including then-Premier Jay Weatherill, Alan Noble, Beth Noveck and Genevieve Bell.

I worked as the South Australian Council Administrator alongside the volunteer Council to increase representation and participation in the AIIA at both a state and national level, particularly through Council-led activities and events.

Event coordinator, website design and management, media and marketing, sponsorship

I successfully project managed the suite of annual and sustainability reports and demerger documentation during my time as a contractor, as well as coordinated the annual/extraordinary general meetings.

My role at ASSA ABLOY included brand, marketing store and supplier relationship management, advertising coordination and editor of the quarterly staff newsletter. I successfully produced and implemented the brand manual as the organisation transitioned from Lockwood Security Products to ASSA ABLOY. I also restructured the marketing store, and implemented a database and processes to improve its efficiency and operational effectiveness.

During my time employed by WMC Limited, I coordinated shareholder communication, including annual reports, ensuring consistency of style and corporate identity as well as managing the supplier and provider relationships. By changing the way that the company managed its production of shareholder communications, I reduced WMC Limited’s annual reporting costs by 35% over the course of a year. I developed and implemented alternative communication methods to shareholders via Internet and teleconferencing. I also managed the logistics of overseas roadshows, results presentation and visits to operations for the CEO and other upper management.
