This position works closely with the I/DD community. The SC (DD Specialist) is assigned to help clients and their natural supports develop an individual support plan after intake to establish funded services. This role is responsible for completing an assessment to determine their level of care, complete intake meetings with new providers, and add/re-authorize services for existing clients. Includes monitoring agency services according to state OAR, providing staff training, and facilitating public outreach.

Developed menus and prepared nutritious, appealing meals for youth and staff; 12-40 people, lunch and dinner daily. Oversaw kitchen sanitation and maintenance including required inspections and reports. Maintained records required by the Oregon Department of Education Breakfast Program, Lunch Program, and Milk Program, including nutritional requirements, meal counts, milk counts, monthly inventory and cost/client’s meals assessment.
