I graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in Cognitive Sciences and Psychology, and currently serve as a project manager at Rice's Kinder Institute for Urban Research for Paths [Senderos]: Building Strength in the Face of Loss for Families with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. My research focuses on the intersection of mental health support and community engagement for historically marginalized communities. I am particularly interested in exploring how cognitive processes intersect with social and cultural factors to influence mental health outcomes, and using this approach to enhance the efficacy of mental health interventions and promote holistic wellbeing.I am dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and public understanding to offer accessible information and practical resources to empower individuals facing mental health challenges. Passionate about mental wellness, inclusivity, and advocacy, I strive to create meaningful change and foster resilience in marginalized communities.
