From traditional press outreach, to fundraising, to social media, I run the FAS communications shop. In my time here we've teamed up with public health organizations to push out high-quality COVID-19 messaging, have expanded our issues portfolio to include disinformation research (in which I dabble! Ask me about the Disinformation Research Group), and have created a novel crowdsourcing science communication platform that has been used by state and local governments.

The Gravel Institute is a crowd-funded organization creating short videos to combat right-wing disinformation and bring progressive ideas to new audiences.
