Hello! My name is Kathryn Ng and I am a senior at Cornell University studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I am passionate about spaceflight and exploration and have been using my college experience to immerse myself in different areas of Aerospace Engineering. I design and build airframes for UAVs on Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems, engineer valves for Starship at SpaceX, and developed multistable composite structures as part of Cornell Space Structures Laboratory. I have explored a wide range of topics in class from Waves & Quantum Physics and Special Relativity to Dynamics and Aeronautics, pursuing everything from the purely theoretical to the solidly practical.Beyond technical topics, I am a passionate environmentalist and I constantly strive to find ways to make my daily life more sustainable. I love the outdoors and it is on my bucket list to make it to every National Park in the US.
