During my tenure at Modjoul, I was presented with the exciting opportunity to assume the role of the company's inaugural project manager. In this capacity, I successfully led and oversaw the progress of seven technical projects across different stages of completion.One of my primary responsibilities as a project manager was to facilitate seamless communication between cross-functional teams involved in the projects. By fostering collaboration and information sharing, I ensured that all aspects of each project were well-coordinated and aligned towards achieving the desired outcomes.To establish clear project guidelines and ensure that all deliverables were within scope, I created comprehensive project requirements documents. These documents served as valuable references for the teams, providing them with the necessary direction and clarity to proceed with their respective tasks.In order to manage project timelines effectively, I utilized the project management platform Monday.com. Leveraging this tool, I organized project tasks, set deadlines, and accounted for dependencies to ensure efficient project execution. This approach enabled me to maintain a structured workflow and keep all team members informed about their responsibilities and the project's progress.My experience as the first project manager at Modjoul equipped me with valuable skills in project coordination, effective communication, and the use of project management tools.

In my role as Fulfillment & Client Engagement Manager, I conducted over 100 on-site visits to customer locations, ensuring the successful deployment of our technology and providing essential training to warehouse management and employees. Building strong relationships with both on-site and off-site management, I effectively communicated updates and promptly resolved any issues that arose.During my on-site visits, I organized and executed targeted marketing campaigns, resulting in a notable increase in employee engagement and adoption of our technology within the organization.While not traveling, I had a range of additional responsibilities that allowed me to contribute to the overall success of the team and the company. These included developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes, engaging in website and mobile application design, overseeing logistics for major deployments by coordinating material requirements and ship dates, creating and managing schedules for employees traveling to customer sites, and efficiently addressing support requests using Zendesk.Through these experiences, I have honed my skills in project management, client engagement, logistics coordination, and technical problem-solving. I have gained a deep understanding of the importance of clear communication, attention to detail, and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

I worked in collaboration with a team of interns to manufacture Modjoul’s wearable devices, charging stations, and belts. We used excel to track inventory, status, and shipment information and assured quality and functionality when preparing devices for shipment.

During my two cycles as a STEM Outreach Awardee, I had the privilege of serving as a representative for NASA at 16 outreach and community engagement events across South Carolina. My primary goal was to enhance public awareness of NASA's ongoing research and inspire curiosity about space exploration.To accomplish this goal, I developed engaging lesson plans and interactive PowerPoint presentations, tailored to different age groups, to effectively educate children about space exploration and NASA's contributions.In 2021, I represented NASA as a presenter at Clemson's Annual STEM Day, where I shared insights and knowledge with enthusiastic attendees. Additionally, I contributed as a referee at virtual FIRST LEGO League qualifying and championship tournaments, providing support to young participants as they showcased their robotic creations and problem-solving skills.During my previous award cycle, I planned and executed space-themed engagement activities at various STEM events. I also had the opportunity to instruct students in building and programming LEGO EV3 robots at the 2019 SC ANGLeS Robotics Camp.

I worked closely with an aerospace engineer in order to generate reports and animations in the Systems Tool Kit (STK) software, which I later received certification for. I also used Matlab to modify scenarios within STK. During any downtime in my main project, I collaborated with other interns in order to create kid-friendly STEM outreach activities, such as experiments with a Van de Graaff generator.
