Responsible for recruitment and admissions activities for two graduate degree programs at the Bush School. I actively support and work with a number of offices/departments to manage the engagement of prospective students from initial marketing through enrollment. Duties include print and online marketing, program promotion, budget administration, staff supervision, event hosting, conference/fair sponsorship or attendance, class and campus visits, admissions counseling, communications and follow-ups, inquiry tracking, event planning, application support and review, interview coordination, relationship management, and ultimately, meeting current enrollment objectives.

Responsible for building a strong pool of prospects and applicants through recruiting and the maintenance of local, regional, national, and international contacts. Working with a number of departments, we developed a recruitment plan to bring qualified and diverse applicants to the Bush School's degree programs through information sessions, counseling, event planning, application review, relationship management and communications, and meeting recruitment objectives.

I taught jr high for 4 years, high school for 2, and both for 2, teaching English primarily, but also a bit of history and math and some coaching of basketball and softball. Once kids came along I was ready for a new challenge and hit upon a great job in higher education recruiting graduate students at Texas A&M University.
