This includes writing emails and campaign actions, designing and curating content for social media, or developing partnerships and creative tactics to build our audience and raise money. I coordinated with our field team to back them up with a strong digital strategy.

Girls on the Run is a national non-profit encouraging preteens to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. I assisted this organization with various tasks such as working the annual 5K run, helping the coaches prepare for their season, and organization around the office.

The Lincoln Park Conservancy is an independent not-for-profit organization that identifies, preserves and enhances the natural, historical and cultural assets of Lincoln Park through restoration, management, advocacy, and stewardship to benefit the park, the public, and the environment while providing opportunities for education and community involvement.While I was there, I helped maintain the Lily Pool and Nature Sanctuary. This involved learning about the environmental importance of native Midwestern landscapes such as prairies, savannas, woodlands and wetlands and the connection between plant and animal diversity. In the office I created components of the website such as the plant map with descriptions which made the park more accessible to visitors.

The Illinois Science Council is an independent nonprofit organization that aims to engage adults in interesting science education. The organization plans exciting events with the goal to teach science as well as entertain. While I was there, I planned and organized some of these events such as Chemistry of Chocolate for the non-profit organization promoting science education for adults. I also researched and created a report on non-profit grants for potential application for the non-profit.

While interning for the John Marshall Law School Foundation, I researched scholarship award records inorder to receive funding from previous recipients. I also was responsible for logging data and managing the front desk.
