I am a seasoned educator with 20+ years of experience in the classroom. I am well-versed in all areas of middle school curriculum. I am a talented instructor who knows what an engaged classroom looks like. I am a life long learner who received two Master's Degrees and many additional hours beyond. My expertise is in curriculum development and utilizing a team of teachers to create interdisciplinary units once or twice a year. I have a passion for teaching middle school. I am someone who volunteers before and after school to help students achieve. I have been a coach, club advisor, director, union representative, philanthropy chair, and been asked to be on many district committees. I was in the first class at National Louis University to receive a Master's in Middle Level Education. This degree has helped my career go in many wonderful directions. I have proven results when it come to student success. I collect all student data. It is my job to review and monitor success. I notice quickly when a student struggles with the concepts. I believe in weekly conferences with students so they can share with me their progress and have one-on-one time with me to ask questions. I believe that all students can learn.
