I tested and documented the implementation of Control system Agnostic Secure Enclave (CASE), a cybersecurity solution for legacy systems, ensuring smooth installation and future scalability to meet evolving cybersecurity standards. Through this project, I helped prepare a publication currently in preparation, detailing findings from the implementation of CASE as a cost-efficient cybersecurity measure for legacy systems. Developed and automated wireless communication methods for Robotics Operating System 2 (ROS2), enhancing device-to-device communication while resolving compatibility issues with existing program libraries. Created interactive data visualizations in Shiny for Python to facilitate migration from Tableau to open-source alternatives for the Corps Reduced and Abridged FEMP Tool (CRAFT), generating cost savings in software licensing.

I interfaced with subject matter experts to update technical manuals to current operating procedures and ASME Standards. Technical manuals were updated using Microsoft tools. I also modified C code to resolve communication errors between a PIC Microcontroller and DHCP server. Errors included incorrect IP address, MAC address, and Hostname. I completed a project that created a status board of plant equipment consolidating 7 different silos of information into one database utilizing Microsoft Access. The new status board standardized methods of planning, implementing, and recording tests and maintenance. At the end of the internship program, I presented a summary of my projects to the leadership team. Presentation won Top Three in Presentations of 2023 intern class.

I worked as a barista. Tasks included working one-on one with customers, ensuring store items were adequately stocked and within expiration, and operating the register. I was also responsible for daily store opening and closing activities.

Served as camp counselor at UIUC WYSE summer camps. Worked to ignite a passion for STEM in groups of 20-25 high school participants. Camps targeted to the under-represented groups. Helped plan team building activities of campers. Facilitated group meetings to reflect on daily activities and solicit feedback on opportunities for improvement. Ensured that camp policies were enforced and campers were safe
