I'm a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, creative thinker passionate about mentoring learners to achieve their definition of career success, which prompted me to launch CareerSpots 18 years ago. As a mother of four, I've worked with students throughout my lifetime, beginning with one of my earliest jobs in college as a youth counselor in a summer jobs program. I mentored students throughout my award-winning television news career from 1984 to 2000 and during the past 18 years leading CareerSpots.CareerSpots is a Pennsylvania-based company that specializes in creating engaging, online videos and micro-courses to empower student career and job readiness. Our dedicated team of highly experienced producers, videographers, and web developers create and curate digital content to inspire learners to self-reflect, develop, and articulate their professional skills. Our virtual career tools include our CareerSpots Videos (1-3 minutes in length), Career Ready Guide (4-hour online micro-course), and our Job Search Guide (6-hour online micro-course). These tools build confidence and motivate students to develop the “success skills” valued by employers.
