The Director of Enrollment Management is an integral member of University Prep's leadership team. She works collaboratively with current parents, students, the head of school, trustees, department heads, division directors, and the communications, development, college and diversity departments to advance a unified image of the school. The director provides leadership and oversight of admissions staff, building a reputation for transparency and exceptional customer service. She builds on the department’s strengths, provides initiative and leadership for future directions, and develops and implements strategies to ensure that the department can meet its goals. The director oversees the Financial Aid program, staff and budget, and serves as a resource for the smooth transition of new families into the school community. She oversees efforts to determine near and long-term enrollment goals for the school. She works with the Director of Communications on outreach and marketing and serves as a resource to the Executive Committee of the Board to help determine tuition.Specific Responsibilities: • Hires, trains, and supervises a four member enrollment team, which includes the Associate Director of Admission, Associate Director of Financial Aid, Enrollment Management & Learning Support Specialist, and Registrar • Reviews, evaluates, and upholds admission and financial aid policies of the school• Oversees outreach, recruitment and retention efforts• Directs and manages the application and selection process • Serves as a member of U Prep's Administrative Team, Academic Council, and Board Committee on Governance and Trusteeship • Serves as Board Co-Chair of Puget Sound Independent Schools, a regional admission consortium
