Systems Analyst / SQL Reporting (November 2010 - present)Lead technical resource supporting Clinical Integration / Patient Center Medical Home corporate initiatives. Works with all levels of the health system to develop dashboards, reports, databases and data extracts as needed to meet corporate goals. Responsibilities and accomplishments include :• Design, development, and ongoing support of dashboards for primary care and specialty practice physicians. These dashboards present key quality metrics derived from EMR data for physician review and corrective action. Optima Insight is the presentation tool; the dashboards are accessed from the company intranet home page. Over 15 dashboards were created, including Diabetes, Hypertension, Lipids, Cancer Screenings, CHF, COPD, Osteoporosis, Pediatric Asthma, Women's Health, and Endocrinology. • Data analysis, spreadsheet and database creation, and report generation for data feeds received from insurance payors, particularly the Integrated Provider Performance Incentive Program (IPPIP) and ePass program from Independence Blue Cross. Processed quarterly IPPIP files containing medical cost, likelihood of hospitalization, and readmission data and produced reports by physician practices. Developed and maintained a distribution model to distribute funds received across the physician and specialty practices. Supplied physician practices with updated lists of ePass participants and eligible office visits for reimbursements.• Adhoc data extracts and mini-projects as needed to support the PCP offices and help them improve predefined clinical standards, meet fiscal year incentives and comply with required government submissions. Projects included NCQA Tobacco Use and NCQA Pediatrics data extracts, Discharge to Office Visit statistics, Patient Portal Verified Email Percentages, Referral Reconciliation, and bi-weekly reports on Flu Vaccination.

Managed a four person team accountable for analyzing and completing adhoc requests for data from the company's major Claims Adjudication system (PowerMHS). PowerMHS runs on the AS400 platform, and includes all aspects of claims processing, such as claims adjudication and payment, group and member enrollment, provider demographics and contracts, and financial reconciliation. Personally created over 200 SQL reports and extracts in 2009; team delivered 1600+ reports in 2009. Interacted with business clients at all organizational levels in order to clarify requirements. Consulted with business clients to define and clarify technical requirements for custom reports in support of the major Claims Adjudication system. Developed and/or modified the technical specifications for 40 reports, including 14 new programs. The reports provided key information for member enrollment validation, vendor inquiries, financial reconciliations, and government and/or audit mandates.Developed and executed project plans to modify reports in support of corporate events affecting the Claims Adjudication system, including two (2) system version upgrades, and a Data Center relocation. Over 350 production reports were verified for each event. No system interruptions were experienced.

Accountable for managing the end-to-end processes for four (4) major product implementations and nine (9) version upgrades for the Claims Adjudication system. Responsibilities included defining business requirements, developing technical specifications, coordinating all levels of testing, and implementing additional reporting capabilities. Reviewed and assigned all adhoc report requests. Acted as subject matter expert providing technical assistance as needed. Maintained a 1-2 day service level agreement despite a 200% increase in the number of requests over the 6 year period. Developed and maintained a reputation as the provider of choice for enrollment, provider, claims, and finance requests for information.Consulted with business analysts to define business requirements, and updated or wrote the technical specifications to implement changes to existing production programs. Regression tested all changes and updated all relevant documentation as needed. An average of 100 changes/new reports were implemented per year, with over 300 programs running in production.
