For almost two decades I have been dedicated to supporting post trauma growth for the families impacted on September 11, 2001 and post 9/11 military loss. I spearheaded a platform of teen service and career guidance programs as well as Project COMMON BOND which brings together young adults worldwide who have experienced loss due to terrorism, military conflict or mass violence. I am also a founding member of STOP, Survivors of Trauma Outreach Program. Recently, I joined a new organization, Dignity Beyond Borders to continue to work with international youth via a program called Dignity in Action to build skills in managing conflict, empathy, and leadership.
