I joined The Family Radio Network (formerly known as Christian Family Radio or Evangel Ministries, Inc.) in November 1990 as a Staff Accountant, was promoted to Director of Finance and then to Chief Financial and Human Resource Officer in 2015. I was previously hired as an Accountant/Bookkeeper for Universal Travel Service and Garrow Oil, along with being a Closing/Operations Manager for Realon Realtors. As CFO my goal is to support our CEO and the Leadership Team in overseeing the fiscal responsibility of the ministry. To ensure good stewardship of The Family resources from donors and business sponsors, to protect the financial integrity, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting in preparation of the financial future of the ministry. I oversee a great team that falls under the financial area. As CHRO one of my responsibilities is to assist our team in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Another area that I organize is developing positive employee culture and development along with finding and implementing employee benefits, policies, and procedures. Working for The Family Radio Network has been a blessing since I started 33 years ago. I have been able to lead, to teach them with also learning from them. I have been privileged to work with a number of many employees through the years that have come and gone. I feel I am successful because of those on my team and in the organization. My goal is to be a Servant Leader to those around me, to walk next to and work with the Team that God has placed at The Family. Plus, I will always put God 1st and will demonstrate a Christ-like, servant attitude in all I do.
