I am the Treasurer of Professional Woman's group and another non-profit. I have 5 grandchildren within 2 miles that keep me very busy.We are lucky to have our children, grandchildren and my brother here in town and enjoy many activities with all of them.I would love to have a part time position where I could utilize my depth of experience and energy, but am making the most of time with our family until I find that.

Mid-Shore Mental Health Systems is a Core Service Agency in Maryland. We get federal and state funding to evaluate and establish mental health programs in the various communities on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I manage the funding we receive and the payments to the various service providers we have awarded contracts to. We have also begun fundraising which is a finance subject that is a speciality all on it's own.I am enjoying this new challenge and really like the people I am working with.

INTERIOR DECORATING AND DESIGN New York Metropolitan AreaAfter "retiring" from Morgan Stanley, I trained and went back to school to learn Interior Design. I opened my own business then teamed with a partner and worked on various residential, commercial and hospitality projects until I left New York and relocated to Maryland. While I enjoyed exploring my "creative" side, I look forward to returning to the more structured business sector.; Worked with the project teams responsible for the redesign of the Firm's "account" structure and the implementation of systems and processes to enhance straight through processing for all aspects of the Firm's business

I worked with and infrastructure project group to evaluate the firm's current systems and determine the firm's requirements for the future.

Managed the Cash Control group with responsibility for safeguarding the cash assets of the Firm and our customers. To meet this responsibility I refined the policies and procedures regarding funds transfers and utilized an artificial intelligence system to monitor payments for unusual activity.Managed the Cash Management Bank Relations group with responsibility for awarding business to banks based on the capabilities of that bank for the particular product. Our team was also responsible for the negotiation of all fees and the analysis of all statements to ensure that the negotiated fees were applied across the enterprise.

Formed a "Best Practices" team, which analyzed various Business Units and entities within the enterprise to ensure that any exposure regarding the Firm's cash assets was identified and corrected. This team also ensured that the best Cash Management practices were in place. Responsible for coordinating with various Business Units the utilization of securities as collateral for financing purpose. Managed the Cash Forecasting and Funding team, which had responsibility for funding all aspects of the Firm's business for USD on an enterprise wide basis. While in this capacity I began a project to improve our forecasting capabilities. My team also assisted several business units to forecast their funding requirements in complex transactions that spanned many different entities, currencies and products.Appointed as Director of Global Collateral Management, which was a new position for Treasury. My responsibilities included researching and implementing the Firm's contingency funding program, including Committed Secured Facilities, in both North America and Europe.

Managed the team responsible for the preparation of the Firm's SEC Rule 15c3-3 Calculation on a weekly and monthly basis. This team was also responsible for the preparation and validation of many aspects of the Firm's FOCUS filing and the calculation of the Firm's Net Capital computation (SEC Rule 15c3-1).The team also had responsibility for many aspects in the preparation of the Firm's Financial Statements including validation of all assets for all regulated entities.Worked with auditors from NYSE, SEC and the Firm's external Auditing Firm on all aspects of their audits.

My responsibilities as a Compliance Examiner included the audit of broker-dealer members of the NASD for compliance with the rules and regulations of the SEC, NYSE and various other regulatory bodies. I was also responsible for analyzing and monitoring the FOCUS reports of numerous broker-dealers on a monthly basis to ensure their Capital was sufficient to adequately support their trading activities.
