Solicit quotations, bids and Request for Proposals for WCC. Work with WCC departments to accurately compile specifications. Provide proposal responses to these requestors before awarding supplier/vendor with purchase order. Run the RFP review committees meetings, contact suppliers with follow-up clarification questions, check references and forward data to all committee members. Solicit prepared documents for construction bids as well as compiling contractor questions, forwarding for WCC responses, then forwarding to all solicited contractors. Change Oracle Banner requisitions into purchase orders from awarded bids/quotations/RFP vendors. Fax purchase orders to awarded vendors once Director of Purchasing approves po's. Initiate and update lists of authorized vendors/suppliers for solicited projects. Initiate and update lists of sole source vendors with approved sole source letters. Work with Financial Services and CFO on other duties as requested.

Purchased raw materials and packaging materials for just in time production of bakery goods. Worked with suppliers on pricing and inventory level as well as innovative new products. Initially worked part time 20-30 hours per week. Transitioned to full time February 2005 through June 2011.
