Finance Director, Enterprise Asset Management

• Develop government billing shared services strategy that will be aligned with a new ERP roll out- Transitioned government billing processes to a shared service environment in order to standardize and streamline business processes for multiple Harris business units in order to decrease CPT- Responsible for leading a group of Billing Analysts, overseeing the preparation, validation, submittal, and problem resolution of Cost Plus, Time and Material, and Fixed Price invoices to Government / Major Prime customers. • Responsible for system functionality of billing department processes to ensure invoices are submitted per the terms and conditions of the contract, FAR regulations, and internal procedures.• Key interface to Contract Compliance group, DCAA, internal / external audits regarding the Billing System and related procedural audit activities. • Key interface to Contracts, Finance, and other Business Units for the Billing Department. Foster positive working relationships with these groups providing a value based business partnership regarding issue resolution, billing metrics, cash collection, program investment, and final invoice closeouts. • Oversight to ensure complex billing analysis to identify, troubleshoot and resolve billing set-up and system issues.• process improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency of the billing department while maintaining a high level of compliance and cash flow.• Drive cash flow / Accounts Receivable initiatives enabling business units to achieve revenue targets.• Develop and implement meaningful metrics to measure success and goal attainment for the billing department.• Promote career development for billing team members through transfer sponsorship to program finance and other division operations functions.
