Participate in Reaching Recovery Steering Committee (RRSC) meetings as a client representative on the Adult System of Care (ASOC) with Monterey County Behavioral Health (MCBH) in-person at the MCBH administrative offices in Salinas, CA and remotely on Zoom. CHHS field placement interns work with iiED staff and interns from other departments on a variety of projects and events. Interns can develop skills in event management (from setting up and managing the ticketing process to planning the food and registration process), preparing videos for social media posts; interviewing participants and writing success stories; developing marketing strategies to increase participation from disadvantaged communities; developing and maintaining an Entrepreneurship Club, planning events, and increasing participation across the campus, developing surveys, updating databases and analyzing data.
