Was hired to bring my many years of shipping and logistics experience in house. Direct international product movement from production through sales to customer of warehouse inventory to over 13 countries and U.S. domestic using various modes of transportation; ocean going vessels, containers, truck and rail. Volumes responsible to be moved in a single year were approximately 33,600 Tons of Frozen and 6,200 Tons of Dry.Coordination of production dates, bookings and trucking. Maintaining detailed files. Work closely with Quality Control on and special instructions for various products. Documentation; Bills of Ladings, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin. U.S. and Canadian Customs and other paperwork to include Health Certificates needed by country. Commercial Invoices, Freight Invoices. Negotiating rate quotes and Service Contracts.

My Documentation started with General Steamship in the lower 48 with various shippers. Creating Bills of Lading and handling Freight Invoices.I was then promoted to the Alaska Maritime Agencies division which handled all the documentation for the various Tramper Companies in Alaska. Also maintained confidential shipper information and Service Contracts.This then grew into me becoming a licensed Freight Forwarder where I handled the accounts of American Seafoods and Glacier Fish Company.

I started my employment with MOL in Seattle, WA as a Documentation Clerk. Was promoted to Traffic Coordinator and relocated to Long Beach, CA. Was promoted again to the Pricing Department that set rates for various commodities and filed tariffs.After 4-1/2 years in Long Beach, I returned to Seattle and was in Customer Service making bookings and quoting rates to customers wishing to ship containers out of Seattle to various parts of the world.
