Examination Development at NITC involves psychometrics, test item banking, online collaboration, facilitating SME committees, exam data analysis and occasionally facilitating live training. NITC testing is designed to credential workers in the medical gas, plumbing, pipefitting, steam-fitting and a number of other construction-related trades.

Responsibility for overseeing the entire programs for IAPMO Personnel Certification Examination and Construction Trades Testing including: • managing volunteer subject matter expert teams using both face-to-face meetings and on-line collaboration to develop and update testing and certification programs.• managing all test-related documents and processes to include item-writing, item-editing, item-banking and creation of candidate information bulletins. • managing various development and maintenance processes to meet stakeholders’ needs.During my tenure I met all 2008 program goals including the conversion of IAPMO Construction Trades testing from paper & pencil-based to secure internet delivery.

In the Training and Education Department (T&E) I:• managed the process of curriculum development, interfacing with internal and external subject matter experts, for updating or creating dozens of on-line courses and practice exams for the ICC Campus (www.icccampus.com) including test question development and revision to insure psychometric soundness.• served on the renewal team which prepared for the successful renewal for the of ICC as an IACET Authorized Provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs.)• served as T&E point of contact to the internal Information Technology Department for the development of the ICC Learning Management System. • lead a team of three who submitted all ICC courses to outside licensing bodies for CEU credit.

Taught MS Office, Intro to Computers, Intro to Windows as well as real estate continuing education and proprietery business applications for PSC.

NISH is a central non-profit agency providing contract assistance to not-for-profits organizations employing people with disabilities. NISH Project Managers act as liaisons between the US Federal Government and the contractor.
