I'm a seasoned therapist and have been a professional in the mental health and wellness community for over 25 years. I am certified in EMDR, MI, CBT, AAT, DBT, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. I'm also currently immersed in learning about and using IFS Therapy as indicated. My primary goal is to work collaboratively with my clients and support them in resolving the effects of trauma that prevent them from living more joyful and expansive lives. I'm enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to living from curiosity.I specialize in providing trauma informed therapy for therapists & healthcare providers, college students, and adults who are dealing with issues such as: Anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, PTSD, suicidality (and aftermath of suicide), verbal, physical, and sexual abuse; eating disorders; chemical dependency, and codependency. I am also a Specialized Therapist for adolescents who are at risk for suicide through an association called Second Wind Fund. With a deep appreciation for the human-animal connection, I have worked as both an Animal Assisted Therapist with my former partner, Kayla (a chocolate lab), and as an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist since 2003. My current therapy dog is a rescue mix named Leasel.

Second Wind Fund has built an innovative program that matches children and youth, ages 19 and younger, who are at risk for suicide and do not have the means or adequate insurance for necessary mental health treatment, with licensed therapists in their local communities or potentially via teletherapy.

In honor of my passion for working with young adults and my commitment to providing high-quality mental health care that is accessible and affordable, I have partnered with Mantra Health to provide mental health services to the students at Regis University. Mantra Health is the first digital mental health clinic that works cohesively with university counseling centers. Mantra is currently the leading digital mental health provider for university students across the U.S.
