Co-founded, with husband Stew Miller, Yes Solar Solutions in 2009 to join, and push, the wave of interest and commitment to alternative energy. Marketing and installing solar energy systems seemed a natural fit with our "green' renovations of historic homes and small commercial buildings from 2004 to 2008, and our eleven years of owning Primrose Schools, caring for and educating preschool children and their families to be responsible, aware and healthy citizens. Our company is now the only NABCEP Accredited solar installation company in the Carolinas.

I handle marketing and operations/ process management for our company. The process from a lead for a solar energy system sale from start to installation involves a number of steps, and coordinating them to make it seamless for the customer is a priority. Calendar and scheduling managment, operations for our retail energy outlet (educational seminars) and all of our advertising, trade shows, events, sponsorships, etc. are part of my reponsibilities.

With Stew Miller, built and operated three Primrose Schools in Cary, NC., a blend of high quality child care with academic curriculum. We were one of the first to earn a Five Star license, and our focus on employee satisfaction resulted in lower turnover and awards such as Employer of the Year with Cary Chamber of Commerce and Top 40 Family Friendly companies in the Triangle. Our emphasis on customer satisfaction earned a reputation for quality and value that exists to this day, along with recognition from the Primrose Franchising Company as among the best performing schools in the system,
