The Clinical Systems teams provide support to the Operations teams at a level that allows for ongoing, continued support of existing systems and development of new systems that will propel Tricore Reference Laboratories into the future. Our strategy provides for appropriate data flow throughout our community, supporting the clinician and ultimately servicing our patients. Directing the Clinical Systems teams means facing our challenges with integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

The LS&S team supports 47 applications and most recently implemented Epic Beaker CP and are currently implementing Beaker AP. Management and mentoring of the LS&S team involves creating programs that will enable them to support the laboratory personnel onsite and remotely at several laboratory locations in the Bay area. Defining the requirements to meet the requests of the laboratories as they expand testing offerings including new forays into genomics is just one of several projects we are working on for our business partners that will in turn serve our joint customers, our Stanford patients.

Lead application implementation team for all proprietary software installations including overall customer satisfaction. Client management, revenue recognition, budget management, and staff development tasks included. Developed implementation processes for HL7 management and shortened timeline to implement successful operational customer systems.

Manage product design and development, QC testing, implementations, and support of the blood bank software and personnel. Prepare budgets, business plans, quarterly reports, marketing requirements documents, and other management reports as needed. Prepare marketing and sales materials. Assist sales staff in demonstrations to prospective clients. Perform competitive analysis and marketplace trend analysis. Prepare and present user education classes and materials. Interface with regulating agencies during company inspections. Evaluated UK marketplace for launch of Blood Bank system there. Determined cultural and design challenges for application and implementation.

Supervised the implementaton of the laboratory computer system and the daily operations of that system once implementation was complete.
