I am the kind of person who qualifies as an interactive person. I have been known to get up close and personal with nature and its beautiful features. I hike mountains and trails not traveled enough just to get a chance to see the majesty of the world we live in. The feeling of triumph causes me to smile and dance as I reach the top of every peak or destination. I swim in lakes skip rocks along their surface and watch the ripples smooth out along the water.But I’m also the kind of person who fights, not in an egotistical way but as an art form. The smooth turns and crisp jabs are almost a dance of sorts, and with the right partner, one can align their forms to create a dance together. The offense and defense forms matching every move together moving forward and backward encapsulates your gaze as you wonder how much time was put into the preparation of this performance. Using only my hands and feet I was able to reach first in class when I received my black belt in this art form. And with that, I taught others the art of Taekwondo and showed them the careful yet technical reasons behind every step in my student's forms.I can read books with hundreds of pages in a week with a small amount of dedication. My favorite books I reread, even though I have a reading list about as tall as a double-decker bus. Books pile in my room and collect underneath my bed. I have lived countless lives through them, a boy chosen by fate, literally, to fight for Mount Olympus, a girl manufactured by the future traveling to the past to escape her creators, or a girl ripped from her home and watches her reality shift from being the human girl she knew to an elven one who can change the future and right the wrongs of the past. Books like these have inspired intricate thoughts and creativity. After all, through the words we know is how we are able to explain and construct the world through language.To wrap things up, there are still many things I dream of doing in the future. I dream of going to the Great Barrier Reef and snorkeling with the large variety of fish there. I dream of hiking every fourteener in Colorado in a single summer! I dream of getting married and settling down to have a beautiful family. But I also dream of finishing college and completing my education. I dream of becoming an ultrasound tech and using those skills to help others feel cared for. Through that delicate and fun work, I dream of spreading peace of mind to the worried, joy to the nervous, and hope to the scared unexpected mothers-to-be.
