Traineeship with the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees (SRSG)• Responsible for monitoring, critically analysing, and briefing the SRSG on updates to state and EU immigration legislation and political affairs prior to meetings with member states or the Secretary General, providing longer form reports when requested.• Prepared in-depth research for fact-finding missions on points of concern, identifying the CoE instruments that can guide states with their international law obligations, and recommending questions for ministers, ombudspersons, judges, immigration centres, and NGOs.• Produced reports on meetings with other IGOs and CoE intergovernmental committee or task-force meetings, identifying opportunities to contribute a migrant advocacy perspective.• Compiled a standard-setting document with the minimum standards required in the detention and reception of migrants to abide by international law as guidance for member states.

Worked on Voter ID campaign in collaboration with the Greater London Authority • Responsible for running social media, creating Canva content about voting procedures and translating content to and from Spanish - engagement rose over 200% during my tenure.• Identifying and coordinating with potential stakeholders to collaborate and organise outreach sessions together, in which my team and I spoke to members of Latin American communities about voting in local elections and registered them to vote.• Promoted CLAUK’s diverse work at Parliament, the Spanish Embassy, and in a careers panel at Queen Mary University of London.• Trained in Safeguarding, Impartiality under Electoral Law, and Increasing Political Literacy with The Politics Project.

• Asked within 4 months to recruit and train a new team, designing the training programme myself.• Created monthly Excel data analysis reports for the CCG, and provided coaching and feedback on my team’s progress, constantly investigating ways to make our processes more efficient. • Supervised over 45,000 calls about vaccine hesitancy and 59% of those agreed to book a vaccination once provided with the information required. Over 2/3 of these callers came from ethnic minority backgrounds. This is one of my proudest achievements as we were the only helpline in the country to provide this service.• Took on additional responsibility for CEO of reporting how close the charity was to meeting all of our funding bids and goals via CharityLog.

NHS COVID Vaccination Hesitancy Helpline for Kent and Medway • Discussed people’s concerns and questions about the vaccine, providing unbiased information for informed decision-making, later inputting this data on Excel.• Communicated with the CCG, GPs, and various NHS departments to advise how to resolve problems with booking the vaccine, to find an appropriate clinic for vulnerable individuals or non-English speakers, and to correct errors on vaccination records. • Trained in risk level 3 certificate in Safeguarding Adults and Children.

• Introduced important topics of UK culture to improve Austrian students’ knowledge of British society and life alongside their speaking, writing, listening and reading skills. I varied the tasks to suit each type of learner. • Regularly practiced German and worked on my organisational skills due to lesson planning, presentation skills, and team work with the teachers whose classes I was covering.• Assessed by a 2500-word German essay, which I wrote on gender stereotypes and their effects on one’s choice of technical school in Austria (Geschlechterstereotype und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Wahl technischer Schule), receiving 68% in this assignment.

• Began as Data Gatherer and progressed to Complaint Specialist. Within three years, I was asked to train new staff and quality-check their work.• Frequently commended for my customer service skills particularly in seeking out ways our services could benefit customers’ financial needs and personal circumstances. I also learnt how to adapt my communication method to better engage the caller when explaining complex processes. Some of my phone calls were used as examples of “What Good Looks Like” for training and development. Additional training and volunteering:• Completed the Professional Banker Certificate with the Chartered Banker Institute. I took the opportunity to partake in community work as well, such as volunteering for the Wisdom Hospice and undertaking Dementia Friends training, First Aid training, and CPR training.
