As the founder, I am responsible for shaping the vision and mission of our institution, ensuring that our programs align with the ever-evolving needs of our students and corporate clients. Beyond that, I am directly involved in the virtual classroom as a teacher, bringing my passion for language instruction to life. As a teacher, I find immense fulfillment in guiding our students towards their language goals, whether it's enhancing their business communication skills, achieving proficiency milestones, or gaining the confidence to navigate English-speaking environments. Plan and lead bilingual lessons in multiple subjects to 24 first grade students. Collaborate with grade level team and assistants to best scaffold student learning. Started English as a Second Language program for maintenence staff.

Lead visual art lessons to 728 students ranging from pre-K to 8th grade. Plan, organize and implement artistic units and lesson plans with a focus on social justice.

Hiawatha Leadership Academy: Morris Park

Lead a classroom of 26 3rd grade students. Create and execute data-driven, targeted Guided Reading lesson plans. Differentiate instruction for learners with developmental disabilities and multilingual learners. Regularly communicate with parents in Spanish and English.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Planned and taught data-driven, differentiated literacy interventions for kindergarten students and Science and Social Studies lessons for a classroom of 26 third grade students. Regularly substitute taught in a variety of specialist and classroom settings from kindergarten through fourth grade. Participated in Professional Development and constantly reflected on my teaching.

Give tours of St. Olaf College campus to groups of prospective students and families as a student representative of the college. Utilize communication and presentation skills.

Faribault, Mn

Successfully planned, coordinated and supervised college access and arts programming for Faribault youth through a local nonprofit organization, including daily summer programming with youth and weekly evening activities. Researched relevant programs, effectively utilized design skills and created a new website. Revised the Board Policy Manual, attended meetings of community leaders.

Led and managed a cabin of exchange students from China and Korea at Hometown USA, the English language village of Concordia Language Villages. Planned lessons and taught cultural art classes to high school English Language Learners.

Oversaw all waterfront activities at Sup sogŭi Hosu, the Korean language village of Concordia Language Villages. Lifeguarded during waterfront activities. Supervised and managed lifeguards and trained spotters in waterfront procedures. Taught ceramics classes in Korean to groups of campers. Organized meetings and coordinated events for International Day.

Led a cabin of campers and taught language lessons at El Lago del Bosque: Wilder, a Spanish Immersion camp of Concordia Language Villages. Attended a weeklong seminar on effective instructional strategies for learning. Planned lessons and taught Spanish language classes to students aged 8-14.
