I am an art therapy and mental health counselor dedicated to providing multicultural competence and individualized care to toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I have a strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and I am able to lead when need be. I am an advocate for client needs and individualized care within the field of art therapy and mental health counseling. My professional goals include;- Using art therapy interventions to support the psychosocial, physical, and family needs of clients - Applying art therapy techniques within a multicultural clinical setting along with being respectful and mindful of the individual client beliefs- Demonstrating how art therapy is employed within treatment teams to support overall client care and improved outcomes- Using clinical documentation and client assessment to tailor art therapy interventions and experiences to meet the needs of individual clients
