As a Program Manager, my passion lies in designing social programs that enable adults with developmental disabilities to explore their interests, cultivate friendships, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging. I strive to learn about the interests of our participants to create engaging, fun-centered programs to foster fulfillment and skills development. Some current programs include; music jams, theater groups, jewelry making, volunteering with animal rescue groups, beach cleanups, collaborative art projects, dance classes, nature stewardship outings, peer-lead courses, costume parades, and collaborations with other local non-profits. In addition to program design, I recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, coordinate with families to match respite workers with clients, and provide development opportunities to ensure optimal program outcomes and quality care for our clients and their families. As a dedicated advocate for our programs, I am continuously seeking funding to ensure accessibility for all families and fair compensation for our instructors to provide high-quality services to our clients. In concert with sustainable funding, I believe that the outreach and collaboration of like-minded organizations are equally essential in advancing societal inclusivity for individuals who are neurodivergent. Through my work, I am excited to continue to co-create meaningful opportunities for our employees, clients, and their families as a collective.

-Served as Liaison on between CIMWI, Transport Ship Captain & Crew, and the Public on releases. Created promotional campaigns and collaborated with colleagues to increase press coverage. Created merchandise for and helped organize the annual volunteer appreciation events. -Hospital intern with marine mammals: restraining mammals, blood glucose testing, IV administration, pulling fish, pilling patients, helping with daily reports, assisting in necropsies, force-feeding animals, draining abscesses, administering med fish, responding to hotline response calls, checking on distressed beached animals, setting perimeters around animals, assessing health of stranded mammals, lead volunteer on Island releases.
