About Katie Lee

I am currently interested in global food systems. In particular, my research is about minimising ecological impacts while still meeting global demand. My research history has spanned from optical physics, medical physics to ecological modelling - but to me the real fun lies in the common threads in these projects - working with large, messy data sets, spatial modeling (Python), working with remote high-performance computer clusters (using PBS & SLURM), data visualisation and scientific writing.
