Hired at Kaiser Permanente Clinical Pharmacy Anticoagulation Service. Counseled and educated patients on anticoagulation therapy and established partnerships to enhance medication safety and adherence. Advised patients on potential drug interactions and side effects, proper dose timing and medication storage. Provided and implemented anticoagulation initiation or interruption plans as requested.

Hired to Target pharmacy initially as a float pharmacist which ultimately allowed for transition to staff pharmacist at the Littleton location. Provided pharmaceutical care to customers including processing, filling and verifying prescriptions in a safe and efficient manner. Provided excellent customer service while counseling on prescription and OTC medications or assisting on insurance billing issues.

Gained drug information provision and literature searching skills as a pharmacy resident in the Drug Information Center. Researched and provided answers to clinical questions received by the drug information center. Developed and presented drug monographs for the University Hospital P&T committee. Mentored pharmacy students on rotation at the drug information center. Assisted with teaching classes to pharmacy students on literature searching and analysis. Staffed evening at the University Hospital Atrium pharmacy.
